A solid, stylish game that didn't get the notice and recognition it deserved.

Kite is an 80s styled retrofuture cyberpunk bullet hell game with a neat synthwave soundtrack, blast enemies, save scientists and most importantly shoot ornamental plants to some cool music. https://youtu.be/09tFMfWvhpM

Quite a fun game, its like a top down shooter but you can upgrade your character and buy new weapons, pretty fun, only 14 levels though, would like to see more, there is a hardcore mode though if you're crazy. The game is pretty doable at first but towards the end I feel like I died way too often despite having the best upgrades and guns and stuff so bit unbalanced there but its not too bad, definitely worth a try if you're into like top down shooter type stuff. 6.5/10

I love the soundtrack for this game, the colors are awesome, and the game play is challenging but not frustrating. Pretty solid game imo.

Notice how everyone is talking about the controls? That's what matters in these types of games and this one's guns and items choices as well as when and how to slow dow or speed up play give it something special. It helps that it's also hilarious, rawkus and uber-weird too.
