Finally got around to this SG win. I see a lot of people don't like it but I've found it enjoyable even if it's extremely frustrating, that price is perfect too. I give it 3/5 It feels like you're playing a title on SNES. You have the same "center-locked" canon with pretty much the same backdrop on every level, there are varying "puzzles" you have to shoot your way through and the pattern will change when you die, there are checkpoints that you will start at when you die and even when you leave to the main menu and come back later. The bosses are different for each of the 5 levels, the levels and bosses repeat however when you play "Hell mode," which unlocks after the normal campaign, main difference between hell mode and normal being that it's faster and tougher, obviously. There are 4 different weapons/bullets and you have to know how and when to use them, space is default and used as a general/normal type attack that you'll use the most, F fires "breaking bullets" that destroy pointy hazards and protective blocks that surround the triangles, K will launch a bullet that slows the enemy(multiple slow bullets make it even slower, very useful,) and lastly J will fire a bullet that …

This is one of the worst games I've ever played, and that includes Chinese ROM hacks... I don't need or expect a lot of polish from an Indy game, it's part of the charm, but this one just feels like corners were cut at every possible step. Stealing their only character from Steam World Dig, poor menus, 1/3rd of a story, and only one control. Not to mention cheap mechanics that insta kill you for silly arbitrary reasons, like your gun being as likely to kill you as the enemy's. Skip this one.

Only played for a couple of minutes and was really annoyed after... Everything you do has to be PERFECT otherwise you fail!! Hit a spike? Lose a life. Hit your rocket? Lose a life. Spam Space to get rid of some small enemies that are completely RNG or one will hit you base when you can't even hit it. I understand if this game would require a lot of skill to complete, but it's completely RNG and punishes you for the minimal things... Not worth.

Won this off SG. It's not a bad game, it's a pretty challenging arcade style shooter, and the unique mechanic is interesting, but it's hard to recommend. If Steam had that middling score, I'd give it that.

This is a very simple game. But it is actually better than expected. We have a fixed gun and 4 bullet types to unlock. The levels are a fairly lackluster but the bosses are getting interesting after 3 levels or so. Beating them requires you to use different bullet effects that matches/counters the structure off the boss. Patience is key but time is running out if you try to play too safe. So, I would say it's okay. Certainly not a gem but can be entertaining.

Won this off of SG, like many others. Not a terrible game, just very simple. Requires some level of strategy to competently finish the levels. A very "okay" experience, but good enough for me to recommend for its price.
