About Kitten Madness

Kitten Madness is an open world fast pace game where you race a kitten through various levels and game types.

The first game type is a race against time to collect mice toys which are used as Cat Cash. The second game type is kitty obstacle course levels that are navigated though while guiding a ball of yarn kitten toy as fast as possible - Look out for traps cat's hate!
Save up Cat Cash to unlock maps and other cats.

The Early access version of Kitten Madness starts out as a single player game where you control a cute kitten performing the playful action a kitten does. Run through houses trying to collect as many mice toys as possible in the shortest amount of time, play with a ball of yarn while avoiding may perils that a kitten will encounter in the yard.

Early access includes 7 levels split between "Collect the Toy" and "Obstacle Course" types unlocked by Cat Cash and 7 multi-color kitten skins that can also be unlocked.

The Early access release is a functional playable version of the Kitten Madness game. We are looking for feed back on the game types for fine tuning during early access and will greatly appreciate community feedback.

Early Access Key Features
- Two map types - Collect the Toys and Obstacle Course
- Collect mouse toys as your Cat Cash
- Collect power-ups to perform your special kitten moves
- Find and eat cat food to regain health
- Special Kitten Moves - Speed Boost, Hi Jump, Slow Down Time

Looking forward to the retail release we are planning on adding a multiplayer "Capture Mouse" game type that will allow teams of kittens to compete with others trying to capture the mouse toy and return it to their home, as well as a "Sandbox" game type where you can just run around without time bounds and act like a kitten.
We also plan on creating new kitten models and skins, as well as new levels for the new game mode.

The early access price will be discounted from full retail price. Once the game is feature complete, the price on the game will increase from the discounted early access price. All early access contributors will be upgraded to retail features for free when complete.

Staring at a cat's ass all the whole time. Collect mouse corpses while inexplicable explosions happen along the walls. Dash around various house levels in this early access affair. It's a bit rough, but could probably get better with updates. https://youtu.be/fNCdc-r2TFk

The concept of the game is what makes it so enjoyable, it got me hooked from the first minute. It`s fun, hilarious and challenging in the same time. The game, while still in early access, has surprisingly few and irrelevant bugs, but there is room for game mechanic improvements. Also, the guy behind the game is an active dev that do cares about players' suggestions. I recommend this game to those that wanna take a break from the all-mighty FPS games.

Very fun for what it is. A little wonky, but I figure they'll get that all worked out before the final release. I can't believe there aren't more games where you can play as a cat, since cats power the Internet. I also have "Cat's Yarn", which is all open world, but kinda boring. Very limited map and all the same, and you can't even walk the cat under a parked car, which is something cats do when they're outside. Suggestions: 1. Have the up-high mice worth more than the ones on the ground. Otherwise there's no incentive to risk death and use fuel to get to them. 2. Have an option to turn off possibility to die. That will make some cat lovers sad and they won't play. Give the option to change that to a time out or loss of mice or something. 3. Give an option (or a cheat) to just skip the levels and go play as a cat and run around the map. From the start. 4. Other music options. The driving metal is fun, but gets old quick. I'd even contribute some music free, and I make cool weird stuff. Devs can contact me on here. Maybe make the non-death option fun, like you have to go run around the open world for 5 minutes (maybe as a ghost cat?) #SandBox #LitterBox #GoodFun
