About Kogarashi
Kogarashi tells the story of Abura Akago, a fire demon that lived ignoring the ice demon Yuki Onna and her evil deeds, until one day she went too far and stole the soul of his mother. At that moment Abura Akago armed with his flaming sword decided to free the region from the evil ice spirit and her demon army.

"Kogarashi" is a student project from the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Bilbao, a rather routine third person action slasher game with an ancient Japanese mythology theme. The problem here is, well, apart from some pretty stale gameplay, is lack of general polish and a rather poor gameplay handling. It's sluggish and slow, the initial enemies too easy and the boss too annoying. DigiPen sometimes come up with some great student projects, but not always. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. Fast-paced combat system Stunning and consistent level design Memorable bosses Excellent replayability Grand soundtrack Wide variety of weapons and armor Breathtaking environments Kogarashi has a knack for telling a story through his gameplay. That's what makes the game so rich without being verbose or excessively long. The prologue immediately sets the tone. No, actually, the game is simply awful; to be honest, I'd give it a 5/20.
this game has a good idea its ok for what it is. the final boss was a little to long and repetitive.
Game crashed while fighting the final boss. While it definitely has potential, it needs more polish to make it pop. What we have here is good, but it needs fine-tuning, especially with the final boss. The difficulty is ridiculous. Still, neat to try out!
When I came upon this game through a random wheel on a random website, I didn't expect much. The expectations sank to a rock bottom when I couldn't change my mouse sensitivity. What followed was a journey full of beautiful experiences all the way up to the Boss fight which I genuinely thought was the last portion of the game when the "Yuki-Onna" froze me and the game continued. These 15 wonderful minutes cannot be replaced ever. Definitely recommend. :)
