Really appreciated this game. It is a great follow-up to the 1st, although a bit 'over the top' compared to Kona. Graphics are very nice if played on max settings, you really get a feel of northern winters. Story was great, although like I mentionned, a bit over-the-top, but still intriguing. Also loved the bits and pieces of Quebec/Canada lore and herb details and such ! Characters were decently designed. Voice actor Guy Nadon (French-Canadian) was still the GOAT ! Gameplay is very easy, even on 'Survivalist', just make sure to not waste your First Aid Kits. Took me about 12h to 100% it, but beware if going for
Animal Lover achievement, this one is bugged as you CAN'T scare animals with a gun, otherwise they count as killed
. Loved the dog-sled as well !

First game was great , i loved it story was awesome finished the first and got the cliff hanger for the second game wanted to play it …. i bought it , loved the first around hour of it started getting a little lost = no problem got to a point where i spoke to the doctor and got to the place called weewatch valley walked around for 4 hours getting frustrated tryna figure out what to do to end up just deciding to go back to the previous location to then realise oh big hole in ground maybe go in there to get to top secret underground bunker , if you wanna walk around like a headless chicken for ours on end then play the game but if you want some sort of waypoint or better clue to go somewhere i dont recommend it , I'm now gonna go read my where's waldo book because at least that tells me where and what I'm looking for

Worth a go if you enjoyed the first game, It's a few hours longer and there's a bit more going on. I think overall it's not quite as good as the original. I did enjoy playing through it but I didn't feel as engaged as I did with the first Kona.

Not a bad game, but not very action packed. You're mostly running around a gigantic snowy sandbox and slowly waiting for the next boring animation to be done. I'd recommend it if you're bored and just looking for something to pass the time

Kona II: Brume envelops the player in a desolately beautiful, snow-drenched landscape where every abandoned room within the Hamilton mansion whispers secrets of past tragedies. Haunting silence dominates the isolated setting, creating a pervasive sense of unease that effectively grounds the supernatural mystery in a tangible, decaying reality. Searching for clues among discarded journals and forgotten photographs provides a deeply satisfying rhythm to the investigative progression. Navigating these frozen interiors requires keen observation, as piecing together the timeline of the Hamilton Mining Corporation’s unethical experiments demands careful attention to the environmental details scattered throughout the desolate northern facility. Technical stability occasionally wavers, with inconsistent depth-of-field effects sometimes blurring the vistas into an unreadable smudge. Players running the title on SteamOS must also navigate the nuances of various Proton configurations, as selecting the incorrect version can trigger significant frame-rate instability that interrupts the otherwise fluid exploration loop. Encountering feral fauna disrupts the meditative pace of the exploration…
