i was hyped to play this but not anymore. i hoped to be able to play my own song and it would generate me a map but instead i'm left with this track editor that does not satisfy me at all because i have to do it all by myself and i have no talent and time for such. still a good thing because i see the work behind it and the fact that its free.. cant complain. hope other people have fun with it.4 found this helpful
"we have rhythm heaven at home"
This is a really good game and some of the (music) tracks are really great and I like the atmosphere of this game. The gameplay itself is a mixed bag of feelings but, in the end, I view it more positively than negatively. I could really use more newbie-friendly rhythm games because this is one of the least newbie-friendly genres of all and I have no games to practice my skills to play this kind of games and playing the same songs over and over again kills any fun there is to the game. The game could have been done better but, for me, as a rhythm gaming newbie, it was good enough to enjoy it, so that's why I recommend it: mostly for people interested in the genre of rhythm games and other genre newbies like me. PLEASE DON'T MAKE HARDCORE RHYTHM GAMES ONLY FOR VETERANS, NEWBIES WANT TO PLAY THIS GENRE AS WELL. Do like the best FPS games do: let newbies learn and thrive gradually while catering to the hardcore audience with well-made and well-balanced difficulty levels that feel fair. The learning curve is just too steep in general, would be great if there was more content on the easier levels, so newbies could practice and get better comfortably to play all the hardcore content one…
I think they should have made the story bits into their own videos and put them on YouTube, then leave the gameplay rhythm parts as is.
doomer music rhythm game. The tracks are a blast and the editor let u enjoy ur own music :)
Fun little rhythm game with a good mix of mechanics. A few stages felt rough on my eyes, but I couldn't tell if that was the game's fault or just me. The last chapter of the story felt like a victory lap for beating some of the much harder songs in the previous chapters, which was nice.
