I honestly wish I listened to the other negative reviews before buying this, because everything they say is spot on. I'm writing this just to reinforce the points they've already articulated better than I can. This game has an intriguing premise and a pretty cool art style, but beyond the initial shenanigans and discovering a few interesting bits, there's really not much to it. It feels shallow and underbaked, like the dev spent all this time creating an interesting sandbox-ish foundation for a compelling game but did not actually fill it out with anything substantial. I had fun for the first few hours, but kept playing long after to discover more of the secrets / endings / etc and feel like I wasted my time. I do want to give credit here because this is clearly a creatively interesting labor of love, and having a serial-killer-next-door version of stardew valley is really only something an indie dev could pull off, but your time and money is honestly better spent elsewhere.6 found this helpful
I love LVC series, and plotwise this part is good as well, but my god it's unpolished as hell. Bugs is this game procreate as if this is dead rat left on a sun. Achievements and events will break, items may dissapear and you may even hardlock yourself (thank god there's cheats in this game or I would have to start everything from clean save)2 found this helpful

What if an impressionable child found this game?
The concept is great, but there are far too many bugs.
A charming little story, with wholesome townsfolk and a fully customisable main character. Hundreds of ways you could play and move through the story, and pretty highly addicting. Highly highly highly recommend. (!) I am being semi-sarcastic, this game is gritty and gory with a really twisted ending and lots of things to do!
