Honestly, Alan Wake Remastered is such an amazing game, and playing through it again just reminded me why I fell in love with it in the first place. The story is absolute gold—it feels like you're playing through a mind-bending Stephen King novel or a high-budget thriller TV show, and characters like Alan and his hilarious agent Barry are so well-written and memorable that you actually care about what happens to them. The combat still feels incredibly fun and unique; there's nothing quite like the tense rush of shining your flashlight to burn off a shadow shield before finishing them off with a shotgun. For a game that originally came out back in 2010, the graphics look really nice in this version, especially with the upgraded lighting and the super creepy, foggy forest atmosphere. Even the collectibles are actually worth finding—hunting down those manuscript pages is awesome because they give you cool story clues and foreshadow what's about to happen next, instead of just being mindless busywork. If you haven't played this masterpiece yet, do yourself a favor and pick it up. It holds up beautifully!1 found this helpful
Good asf. Alan is peak chad
Besides the absolutely outdated and horrible gameplay, this game is kinda decent. The story is average. The characters are pretty cool and Alan is awesome. But it's alright and nothing more than that. I'd only recommend if you like classic horror and Steven King. 5.7/10
The game is overall descent, an excellent story to play, but it is wrapped in a excessively boring combat mechasism. The combat gets repetitive and boring, it is also tougher than it should be which takes away all immersion. had the combat been easier, it would have been an easy 10/10
nice game in all matters but syory is very complex
Great game and DLC . Dont play the sequel though, its woke garbage.
