I’ve been really pleasantly surprised by this game so far. It feels like a mix of chess and fantasy warfare, but refreshing because there is zero luck involved, just pure strategy. If you enjoy thoughtful tactics without the frustration of RNG, I’d definitely suggest giving this a try. Look forward to seeing more from Plutonian!1 found this helpful
Fantastic game that I've been following for a couple of years at this point. Feels like MtG / Warhammer meets chess. The goal is pretty simple where you have to occupy the center at the end of the 7th round as attacker or prevent your opponent from ending in the center as the defender. Each unit has different abilities and projects different threat ranges, and the game really shines in the draft game mode. You get to pick your pieces and it's a very tense back and forth with your opponent, rapidly drafting threats, with your opponent countering them with their own. There's a lot of depth to game and you can dive in and get lost. The only warning I have is that there's a very high skill floor, where you can easily lose at draft. The positive there is that there's loads of room for improvement, if you're looking for a heavy game with good art, some great mechanics and the opportunity to grow as a player, I would happily recommend this game!
Absolutely phenomenal game. Low eyecandy factor, but to me that's a feature not a bug. Too many games have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay and some eyecandy that's nice for two seconds. This game is actually good! Kudos to keith the creator. long may the game keep creating new content. One con: the player base and dev are active on discord, but finding a game is tough af atm. but keith is working on expanding player base and further dev. this game is just getting started and its going to be glorious
This is a truly excellent client for a game I'd probably have never heard about it not for the digital release. Even outside the game being excellent, which it is, the client really charmed me with its old-school "battle for wesnoth" kinda energy. Would love to get more of my friends into this.
