About Armello
Race to overthrow the corrupt King of Armello by combining tactical card play, board game strategy, and RPG progression in a cutthroat battle across a gorgeous fantasy kingdom. Outmaneuver rivals through quests, spellcasting, and cunning schemes as you vie to claim the throne and become legend.
As a hero from one of the clans of Armello, you'll quest, scheme, hire agents, explore, vanquish monsters, cast spells and face off against other players, with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming King or Queen of Armello. The Kingdom of Armello is as dangerous as it is beautiful, perils, banes and bandits hide around every corner and a spreading corruption known as the rot is leaving no creature untouched.
Armello is League of Geeks’ attempt to revolutionise digital board and card games, whilst providing players a rich world within which they can craft their own stories of epic adventure. The aim was to create a rich game full of backstabbing, close shaves, shattered alliances, ruses and empty promises - a perfect game to play online with your friends.

Great board game. Pity about some in app purchases but it doesn't affect the game itself.2 found this helpful
We had a good run heroes.
Armello was once one of the most beautiful tabletop board game. Honestly, it was amazing. Yet, a decade later, it’s a shadow of its former self. The game suffers from poorly optimized DLC characters, and the developers have abandoned the project entirely. Community feedback was never addressed, leaving persistent issues like client-side information vulnerable to basic Cheat Engine abuse. As a result, players inflate their stats, freeze the game, or quit after a bad first turn, you even getting penalized with leaver busters for leaving the queue or being kicked out when you lose connection, which just puts more salt into the wounds. The once expensive dice skins are worthless now. Games are less satisfying, even with the diverse roster of characters and special ways to play them all, it just... It's not good anymore.
Issues
Armello is plagued with poor matchmaking, rampant cheating, frequent disconnects, slow gameplay, sluggish matchmaking, and a dwindling player base. The game is still restricted to Fury Fridays for faster matches. This means you’re often sent back to the main menu, waiting for up to an hour just to be paired with oth…2 found this helpful
super fun with friends.1 found this helpful
Wish this game still had an active player base. The game is completely dead but if you don't mind playing against the AI or if you have friends to play with its still a fun little game to play.1 found this helpful
Super fun
Love this game, very fun to play with friends. The aesthetic is so rich and vibrant - the clans/characters are all unique and fun. I return to this game often and have bought copies for others because I love the multiplayer. Controls work great on steam deck and I recommend the dlc characters if you want to sink hours into this board/card game. Rot victory FTW.
