About Lifespace Traveler
Brutal and uncompromising combat
Tight controls and melee combat are simple to learn but require quick reflexes and good situational awareness. Analyze the attack patterns of your enemies to find a perfect opening for a counterattack or just run for your life.

Die. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
Each area introduces new types of enemies and obstacles that require specific tactics. No silver bullet strategy will save you from every threat you will face as you fight to achieve your goal.

Immerse in a grim dystopian world
Discover the story at your own pace by talking to NPCs - or ignore it altogether if you prefer raw action.

Let the music pump you up
Enjoy original Synthwave music handcrafted for the game and inspired by Furi and Hotline Miami soundtracks.

What Steam players say

Players consistently praise the game's striking cyberpunk aesthetics, atmospheric visuals, music, and the impressive achievement of being a polished indie title made by one developer. However, many criticize the limited and imbalanced combat mechanics—featuring only basic slash and thrust attacks with no defensive options, stiff animations, and poor handling of multiple enemies—along with technical issues like boss bugs and the game being shorter than expected for a souls-like. The experience divides between those who appreciate it as a stylish, atmospheric indie gem and those frustrated by th
In this game you have 1 slashing attack and 1 thrusting attack, a roll with no iframes, and no defensive controls. Yes, enemies will stop your attack chain by blocking, but you cannot block. The only way to meaningfully deal with enemies is to stand just on the edge of their attack reach, take two steps back, and then wait for the lock-on to glow red, at which point hitting them will dramatically send the enemy flying and deal most of their health, if you do it right. That's pretty much the gameplay. Details? Everything is obscenely stiff, the limited mechanics crumble in the presence of multiple enemies, healing is limited to more or less a single pickup per segment that gives you a varying amount of charges, enemies hold the items you need to progress so the description suggesting avoiding them is simply a lie, ranged enemies simply continue firing at you while you stand in their face cutting them up, enemy vulnerabilities are often in the middle of a combo and if you don't hit them at the right time you just eat the rest of the attacks, NPC dialogue is immensely drawn out to tell you nothing at all, I honestly can't think of anything to say that's complimentary. This game is a souls like in a cyberpunk setting. This game was also made by ONE man, so there is only positive things I can say for it. The graphics and mechanics are pretty amazing, though I would've really LOVED a deflect mechanic. I know things like that are coming in the next game, so be sure to support this developer as it mega important and rare to have such developers who care for an actual game today. 10/103 found this helpful
Really enjoying this game so far -- the graphics, the characters, and the general aesthetics are all very mysteriously beautiful! :)) looking forward to playing more and see how things unravel!3 found this helpful
This is not a souls-like as advertised. It is a simple linear action game with no character development. I couldn’t finish it because the second boss fight was bugged. An unworthy experience overall.3 found this helpful
i first wanna say this is one of the coolest and best indie games ive played from being so unknown. the game ran great, it looked awesome and the music was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dope. this game is in all around vibe with fun combat, a cool world, fun bosses, different NPC's, and all around good and decently polished for a small game. the puzzles were also unique and very rewarding. i wish the game was longer and if you're looking for a rough playtime estimate, it's probably between 2 hours (if you're very smart and quick to maybe 6 or 7 hours maximum for the end of the game.) i did enjoy this and it's already a good price without it being on sale..but i got it on sale for super cheap and it was so worth it. can't stress how awesome the music was and this game just gave me ghostrunner vibes in a souls form. good job dev and/or devs!!!!2 found this helpful
