Light of Mine

Light of Mine is a free to play VR game that is like an Escape the Room with monsters to look out for. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Challenging. Creepy. Try this game, you might like it.

I only played the game in non-VR. Ok free walking simulator with some puzzles (mostly finding the exit of a maze) and a bit of horror. Though it's very short, it took me about 15 minutes. I think I haven't seen a flashlight in game more useless than this one. Also the walking speed is very slow, but strangely you walk way faster if you are strafing.

Главный герой, шахтер, погружается в подземный лабиринт, где нужно собирать ресурсы, решать логические задачи и избегать опасностей. Плюсы: оригинальные механики, атмосфера таинственности, разнообразие заданий. Минусы: некоторые уровни слишком сложны, а технические баги могут нарушать погружение. Подойдёт тем, кто любит интеллектуальные вызовы и медленный геймплей. Рекомендую для любителей жанра.

So far, I played this game without VR. It has several big flaws, like: Low fps, slow movement, some visual bugs, the resolution didn't fit my screen at all, no way to change the resolution, and some other issues... However, even with a lot of problems, this game is still playable on desktop mode, which is cool. And the game does its job of being a horror game quite well. I wouldn't say this game is just scary, it is straight up terrifying. I was scared and on edge every single second, the creatures are creepy and lurk around every corner, coming for you. I have no idea how people can play this in VR when it feels so spooky. Maybe I'm just a scared little chicken, but this game is what I would call good horror, and that earns it a positive review!
