About Stay in the Light
Stay in the Light is an immersive first person horror game with a combination of unique features: Real-time Ray Tracing and Random Dungeon generator. You are being hunted by Him, a creature lurking in a mysterious dungeon. With only a few items, a mirror, a torch and some chalk, you must survive this hellish place. There are treasures to be found, puzzles to solve and clues to uncover.
Stay in the Light takes advantage of RTX rendering technology and can only be done in a real-time ray traced environment. The mirror reflects things behind you with pixel perfect accuracy. Light and shadows are key elements of gameplay. This game uses cutting edge rendering techniques to create completely new gameplay experiences as well as showing off the hardware capability of RTX cards.
Dungeon levels are generated randomly for maximum replayability. The game includes the ability for you to generate your own random level and see the generation process in action, and then pick the level you want to play.
Stay in the Light is free. There are no tricks to that, no in-game ads, no microtransactions. It's my way of saying thank you to the Steam community and ray tracing enthusiasts everywhere. If there is desire for it I will continue to grow the game and add new features. Enjoy and have fun!

I don't really understand the bad reviews for this game. It's not a bad game by any means. There are a few quirks, like the villain not appearing very often (he appeared once in Level 1 and not at all in Level 2), but I don't really mind considering the game is A: Free and B: The graphics are really nice. I like the mechanic involving the mirror, with the fact you have to constantly be looking back on yourself in fear of the villain appearing (Even though he doesn't), and the realistic-ness of having to use chalk to mark your location instead of having a mini-map telling you where you have and haven't been. Overall, I really like this game and I would recommend it to anyone who has an RTX-capable device and appreciates games that aren't perfect but are equally enjoyable.

Игра не перегружена скримерами, а скорее полагается на саспенс и психологическое давление. Единственным минусом можно назвать некоторую однообразность локаций, однако это компенсируется постоянным ощущением надвигающейся опасности. В целом, 'Stay in the Light' – достойный представитель жанра хоррор, который наверняка понравится любителям пощекотать нервы. Рекомендую играть в наушниках и в полной темноте для максимального погружения.

Resolution settings are effed up and dev does not do anything to fix. You are locked to 1080p. If you try to change to 1440p or 4K, you can only see a quarter of the screen. Unplayable.
Nice game and graphicaly good reminds on Indiana Jones...
