Liminal Border Part II

After the first part reading this one I felt disappointed and disgusted:( But I believe it's not the game's fault per se, I'm just not their target group. So, I don't want to sound too harsh and will try to write a neutral review. There're some SPOILERS, proceed with caution if you haven't played the game yet. [b]Reasons to be disappointed:([/b] –I didn't expect it to turn into some shallow, stupid harem story(－^ლ) Hina was practically absent in this story, the focus was more on mc's relationship with yakuza's daughter. And it was so unrealistic, so primitive, some perverted delusional dream of a pathetic loser. It was said too many, absolutely unnecessary amount of times that he was so miserable but now he ♥♥♥♥♥ two girls at the same time. Continuing the Story of the first game Itsuki has to deal with an unfair debt from the yakuza. To get out of it the gang tries to get the boss' daughter Kotoko on their side. Like the first part everything is high quality. The backgrounds are good, the soundtrack is nice and the character design is unusual but very good, I like it a lot. The further the story progresses the more intense it becomes. This part changes the Protagonist at the end, the journey is worth it. Kotoko has become my favorite character of the game and as each game features a main heroine this also has become my favorite part with Kotoko. But don't let the girl fool you, she hides some crazy sides. 10/10 You absolulety want to get the R-18 patch from the publisher's website for the best experience as the adult scenes are very important to the story. In this part some scenes are hard to enjoy but every scene has a meaning and is not there to fill the publishers quota which I absolutely appreciate. There is one scene you will absolutely love and it's worth it.

Criminal Border gets even better! The series has been consistently awesome so far. It's amazingly paced, has loads of complex underworld business logistics that I love, has best girl Kotoko, who has possibly the best H scene known to man, and goes further with its twists and turns than 1st Offence.
