About Locked
A visual novel depicting a hero called Maks, who is seeking for a waitress which he hasn’t seen for more than a month.
Maks has recently finished his studies and is desperately trying to sort out his life. He visits a bar, “The Polaroid”, regularly to get drunk and chat with a ginger haired, pretty waitress, which he is afraid to ask out on a date.
Then one day he doesn’t find her at the bar and decides to go look for her.
Intuition brought him to a mystery mansion; a place of gossip and criminal tales.
Will Maks find the stranger and unravel the mystery of the cursed mansion?

I wanted to like this game. The art's quite appealing, the music is good, and it's good to encourage new developers too. Sadly, I can't. Whatever story it has is painfully lost behind a very poor English translation. I mean, here's the opening scene:
Another day of my life was wasted. Why did I even tried? My destiny is the eternal part. In person no one will dare to give the job to a guy with such a dull complexion. Nothing has changed since I graduated. No, since I moved away from my parents. And if I didn't get, the money bar none. And there is no pretext to see her. What is this? ... Looks like I finally got lucky. The owner of the thousands of invisible, so you can pay a visit to my favorite spot.
At a guess, that should ideally read something like
Another day of my life had been wasted. Why did I even try any more? Things always stayed the same. Nobody wanted to give a job to a guy with such a dull outlook. Nothing had changed since I graduated. No, since I moved away from my parents. And without money, I couldn't go to the bar. And I had no other pretext to see her. Wait, what is this? ... Looks like I finally got lucky.
But I've had to make …14 found this helpful
https://youtube.com/watch?v=jo9eNB1Ti_w Neat little mysterious visual novel game which isnt too long, just about 20minutes for a walkthrough. Though there are a few different endings to get so there is some replayability at least. Artwork is good as i do like the design of the character Hoshi,.who is the focus in the game. Downside is that there were a few grammatical and spelling errors along the way, but at least it wasn't so bad that it ruined the story/game. Also it is a pretty cheap game so at least that isn't so bad for perhaps an hour to two worth of gameplay14 found this helpful
Locked is the first game by Redmoon Games studio.
It is a choice based Visual Novel, where most of the actual choices do not affect the outcome of the game, just the dialogues in question. However, it is up to you to choose the ending you're willing to take for the epilogue.
Plot:
You play as Max, a jobless guy feeling at a loss given his current situation. As usual, you end up taking a detour at your favourite bar, this time in order to ask that cute waitress called Hoshi out on a date! However, you get struck by a huge headache, after which you lose some of your memories - but not the one about Hoshi. Turns out no one remembers her and she has never worked at the bar. At that point you find a polaroid displaying an abandoned mansion that is told to be haunted due to its bad reputation involving paranormal cases and disappearances of the visitors. As you sense it is tied to the case of Hoshi's disappearance, you decide to visit the ominous place in order to save her...
Pros:

The soundtrack is really immersive and creates a haunted atmosphere just on point with the game's premise.
You can…10 found this helpful
A fun little game with a slight "twist". The majority of other novels I've played had rather poor sound quality, "Locked" on the other hand focused on it. I found it refreshing. :)10 found this helpful
