Loco Road

[h1] Simple battle racing game. Controls are ok, controller doesn't work though. Simple visuals and some weapons to smash opponents. Tracks are very basic with some environmental hazards. Overall skip or waste time on nothing new. [/h1]

Игра Loco Road приятно удивила своей простотой и затягивающим геймплеем. Визуально она милая, с яркой, мультяшной графикой, которая создает атмосферу беззаботности. Механика строительства железной дороги, хотя и незамысловатая, требует стратегического мышления: нужно учитывать ландшафт, распределять ресурсы и избегать аварий. По мере прохождения сложность возрастает, и приходится серьезно поломать голову над оптимальным маршрутом, чтобы доставить грузы вовремя и уложиться в бюджет. Разнообразие поездов с уникальными характеристиками добавляет глубины игровому процессу, заставляя адаптироваться к меняющимся условиям. Единственное, что немного расстраивает - это некоторая однообразность задач. Со временем строительство железной дороги от станции А к станции Б может немного наскучить. Однако, в целом, Loco Road - это отличная игра для тех, кто ищет ненавязчивую, но увлекательную головоломку, в которой можно расслабиться и приятно провести время. Рекомендую!

"Loco Road" is a very weak attempt to make an arcade/combat/racer kinda game but with extremely low production values, because you know, who doesn't look at games like Rocket League and think, "This would be awesome if it was made with worse graphics". What, nobody thinks that? Loco Road Team certainly do. What do you do in the game? Race around, but there's no point and no effective multiplayer to speak of. It's unclear what the point of this is at all. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
