Black Jacket

It's a very good rouge lite deck builder. Fun mechanics and atmospheric. It does lean towards the easier side most of the time. Grinding to get to the harder difficulties gets repetetive once you've "solved" the game and know how to play optimally.

Great card game with rogue-like elements

This kicks Balatros ass! One of my new favorite games

I don't write reviews very often, but I absolutely adore this game. The art is incredibly nice to look at, and slowly working out the story through repeated runs and different card interactions was remarkably enjoyable. I own multiple card-based roguelikes (and even multiple based on blackjack specifically) and this is hands down my favorite one. The gameplay loop is incredibly engaging and fun, even several runs into a single play session I don't get tired of it. I highly recommend it.

"Let's make a roguelite deckbuilder where the core allegory is a man's gambling addiction, and the gameplay loop is literally playing blackjack against everyone whose life he ruined, to escape a Hell he's only in because he couldn't stop playing blackjack while they were all still alive." These devs are just as diabolical as they are ingenious.

Smart enough to unlock the true ending, not smart enough to comprehend its meaning. 10/10 game btw
