LOG the game

[h1]Introduction[/h1] Yes, it’s another one of those Steam indie gems. Truth be told, LOG the game can’t really disappoint if you weren’t expecting a lot to begin with. This is afterall, the Steam debut of developer/publisher RobotKSR and they had the courage to go for something bold from the get-go. That takes digital brass balls and their attempts at originality shall not go unnoticed by yours truly. [h1]Story[/h1] Players shall get to control and witness the wonderful adventures of an anthropomorphic (humanlike) log which goes on a rampage against those which cut him down along with his “brethren”. A partially motivated revenge tale, yet Log seems to fight mostly other trees and wildlife which seems to me a bit absurd but that’s this title’s logic, I guess. There’s barely a coherent plot here and the visual style isn’t helping at all. Don’t ask me why he’ll reach outer space and fight aliens or how is this going to save the forest, but let’s just assume that the entire game is a drug-fuelled cosmic trip into the unknown and proceed along those lines. Deep within a forest once filled with life and harmony stood a rare and extraordinary tree unlike any other.
