Lumberjack's Dynasty is a mix of forestry, logging, business- and life-simulation with role playing elements. You start at a run-down logging camp which you slowly take over from your aunt and uncle as you restore it to its former glory. Along with cutting timber and hauling it to the mill for further production, you will enjoy various quests that will help you improve not only your business, but your character’s skills.

this games is a wonderful lumberjacking experience with a interesting community there is apparently more but i cannot for the life of me get past the early game loop of selling pallets of wood to a lumber yard. the ungodly tedious and boring drive could work as a torture for gamers. there is only one truck that can haul these pallets and it only fits 7 the drive itself takes about 4 minutes so you would think its not so bad. however when you can only sell these pallets for around 1-2k with no way of speeding things up or hiring workers it becomes a logistics sim where you need to bring hundreds of pallets, 7 at a time in order to progress to the true mid-game. This does not even take into consideration the drying that can be done to the pallets of planks. there is no upgrading your lumber mill only making the outside pretty with new boards as far as i know. i cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to get this game unless you wish to torture someone.3 found this helpful
still after all this time the game is still not optimised at all yes i only have 40 minutes in the game and thats because i cant get over the screen stutter and how smooth the game is not. Each time i have tried to play this game i just stand there looking around the same area with minimal mouse movement my frames would jump from anywhere between 10 to 300 fps. I wanted to enjoy this game but unfortunately a bug where my mouse is constantly moving up has made it impossible. I dont experience the issue anywhere else.
fun game
Dont buy this if you want a fun experience. The grind is just stupid and drains all your will to life. It is all fun until you reach chapter 2 and have to gain a lot of money.
