Thanks to being a closed country for quite some time, it's known for doing things differently. That's exactly why its culture is so popular. This game, though? Well, it's very, [i]very[/i] Japanese, but the thing is, it actually does try to be more different than usual. I mean, let's just admit it, lots and lots of Japanese games feel exactly the same nowadays. Personally, I can't even tell the difference between, say, [b]Operation Abyss[/b] and [b]DEMON GAZE[/b]. [b]Compile Heart[/b] keeps producing games that look and feel identical, [b]Nippon Ichi[/b] is known for that, [b]KOEI TECMO[/b]'s [b]Atelier[/b] series is, like, a never-ending thing too... For a game with time travel that requires you to loop multiple times, the game needed proper skip dialogue options, there is a fast forward but it is still slow, you can skip some cutscene but not ALL of them. Going through the same dialogue over and over is tiring. Also, the player character moves so damn slow. He does a slow jog sort of animation that feels as if it's running at 15fps. It feels like it takes forever to get to point A to point B. I have played and enjoyed mediocre games before, but in this game it's the lack of QOL and some strange in game decisions that really make a mediocre game feel like and awful experience, it feels like torture. Why the devs could not go back and patch in some QOL after launch, I have no idea. It seems they gave up before they even began. The game has very nice art and some good music but all of that is wasted.

I bought this game for $5 and after playing this pile of ♥♥♥♥. I can say without a doubt $5 is the perfect price for this slope. I bought this for the fox girl waifu. I feel bad for Criware and Marvelous having to put their name on this trash fire. In my mind I hope the bosses of Criware and Marvelous went down the line (Yakuza style) and slapped the ♥♥♥♥ out of everyone responsible for making this game as trashy as it is. If you bought this game for more than $5 I pray you have learned your lesson to wait before just blindly buying slope. I am extremely discussed I hope no one else was gullible enough to buy this filth. Once again you dont hate wokealizers enough. Fawk anyone who purposely goes out of their way to make garbage translations. If anything it just motivates me to learn Japanese is what I would say but after that beach was flown out to Japan to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Altus, I have zero faith. Burn it all down maybe we can get it right next time.

Can't bring myself to recommend this game when it's listed as an RPG but due to being run by AI this instead becomes mostly a sandbox with jumpy difficulty as the AI learns you play style. Conversation progression makes no sense due to AI. There is some aspect of a plot that is already set up within the first hour of the game but the AI will likely spoil what I would assume is end game content or content that is showcased later. Story concept is great, the premise of the game is solid. The use of AI however, completely ruined the gameplay for an RPG. If the developer wants to use AI driven story then don't label the game as an RPG. Label it as a sandbox game. While I am mostly against the use of AI I try to look past that when games utilize AI to see how it was utilized. This game unfortunately had AI replace core aspects of the game.
