Lopers

I bought this having no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It's the first game I've played that makes me feel smart while mindlessly mowing down enemies. Who needs trivia night at the bar when i can play this! I'm still early on but am excited to see where the dev takes it.

Quirky game with some genuinely unique combat elements (trivia!). The mechanics take a little bit of getting used to, but the concept is super novel. The item management and economy are comprehensive. You have to use them wisely to build up your character for fighting anything beyond those pesky geese. The Dev is pushing updates at a good clip. It's nice to see another Bevy game on steam. Bit of a Rust fanboy myself. Listen to the villagers; they know what they're talking about!

Where Knowledge Is Your Most Powerful Weapon Forget grinding for XP. Forget killing the same goblin 400 times just to get a slightly shinier sword. In Lopers, your greatest weapon is the one thing you actually bring with you every day: your brain. “A game which brings trivia to the sword and sorcery world. No XP bar, no grind, just real world brain power growing. Cultivate Excellence. Reach Mastery. Attain Immortality.” And honestly? That pretty much nails it. Lopers is a wonderfully weird combination of fantasy, trivia, and old-school adventure that makes you feel like you're wandering through a magical world where instead of asking, “Do I have enough Strength to defeat this monster?”, you're asking yourself, “Oh God… why did I think the capital of Australia was Sydney?” What makes this game even more impressive is that it's being created by one guy. One guy. One brain. One ridiculous amount of ambition. And you can feel the passion behind it. There’s something genuinely refreshing about a game that doesn't constantly demand that you grind, farm, level, or spend your life chasing some arbitrary number. Your progression is actually YOU getting better. Every question you learn…

Its Fun! Unique concept. Updated regularly. Looking forward to watching it progress.
