At first glance this should be the perfect game for me, but it just fails to be enjoyable for me even tho I kept wanting to like it. I can explain some reasons for this, but it is also unfun for reasons I have not figured out yet. Everything just felt flat and generic and boring. If you are thinking, "Hey, you only played this for 8 hours," let me tell you, it felt like 80 hours. Levels were too open, just a big field with some minor obstacles in the middle. No dead ends. No mysterious corridors. No interesting gameplay aspects from obstacles or rooms or hallways. Even level is just: here is a big oddly shaped ballroom with some boxes in the middle you have to walk around. Too much loot. Just constantly going back to sell everything. The mumble-groan the shop keeper does is etched in my memory. The enemies felt just so samey to fight. In every game like this there are always one or two enemies that are annoying. I understand that. But in this game, the only enemies that stood out were because they were annoying, and all the other enemies were just plain boring to fight. No tactics! That is what is missing. Enemies just look different, but they do not fight different. I tried th…

Great game. Took years for me to finally get into it, glad I did.

This is a hidden gem. Not many talk about this one, but if you like isometric aprg with build diversity, this is one of the best out there.

I think this really needs to reduce the health of the player and all enemies. The long time to kill, in both directions, leaves combat feeling like a slog. This also makes the abilities feel less powerful and impactful in turn. There are a ton of great Diablo-esque games out there at a variety of price ranges. It's hard to recommend this over most other options.
