I love this game but it has one major issue that makes it extremely hard to get into. Normal mode is required to progress. The game is insanely fun on hard but on normal everything is too easy and not a challenge at all. So the early game feels super super grindy with very little payoff. They can fix this by giving us a downgrade system for red epu cores turning into blue or just letting red epus work as blue for the sake of upgrades.2 found this helpful

The controls are unnecessarily difficult. Like some of the style, but it's too hard to play. It should be fun, not a chore.
Early game is rough. The way you take items into the dungeon and take loot out is so taxing and convoluted.
