Players praise Lost Wing's engaging arcade-style gameplay, smooth controls, and fun mechanics that work well as a casual, background game. However, common complaints center on the game being abandoned by developers with no updates in years, persistent achievement resets that frustrate players, and relatively simple smartphone-like gameplay that some feel lacks depth or innovation.
Nice game but it resets the achievements at the start And its abandoned by the dev1 found this helpful
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…1 found this helpful
Gameplay is simple, it looks like some smartphone games.
Lost Wing, developed by BoxFrog Games and published by 2Awesome Studio, is an adrenaline-charged blend of speed, precision, and chaos wrapped in a luminous neon shell. It is a modern reimagining of the arcade spirit, one that thrives on reflexes and repetition rather than narrative or exploration. From the moment the first track begins, the game throws the player into a futuristic corridor of color and velocity, daring them to react faster, think sharper, and survive longer. It captures that quintessential arcade feeling—one mistake and it’s over—but also builds upon it with layered mechanics and an evolving structure that keeps players returning for just one more run. At its core, Lost Wing operates on an elegantly simple premise. You pilot a sleek, futuristic craft through a series of ever-changing corridors filled with obstacles, enemy fire, and environmental hazards. The goal is survival, but success is measured through precision, style, and speed. Your ship moves automatically forward, leaving you to handle steering, shooting, and dodging with split-second timing. The controls are tight and immediate, allowing for micro-adjustments at high speed, which gives every movement a …
This is actually a really fun game and I would recommend buying it on sale but I can't give it a good review because sadly it is an abandoned game that hasn't seen a update in years even though it could really use one. Game play is fun enough for a background game and controls feel smooth. Wish there was more to this game as I believe it has or rather had a lot of potential. achievements always reset once you load up the game and that does get pretty annoying. Buy it on sale and it'll make for a decent game in between games or a second monitor game.
I lost more than just a wing playing this
