MachineGunner2 : Bullet Transcending is a small top down shooter that takes a surprisingly clever approach to controlling multiple characters at once. Instead of simply moving one character around a level, I have to control four different players while shooting enemies and trying to reach the end of each stage as quickly as possible. The basic idea sounds simple, but once bullets start filling the screen I have to think carefully about where everyone is positioned. The character control is easily my favourite part. I can mark which player I want to move while leaving the others locked in place, then switch between them whenever I need to. This means I am constantly making decisions about which character should move and which ones should stay where they are. I liked this because it creates a nice puzzle element underneath the shooting. I am not just dodging bullets myself, I am managing the positions of the whole group. The colour system adds another interesting layer. Each player has a colour and needs to shoot enemies matching that colour, while white enemies can be damaged by everyone. It's hard.. u have 4 "characters" to control and make sure they don't get hit even once while they try to shoot the color that aligns with them. The game is simple by how it looks. I would call this even a rage game mixed with bullet hell and I think if this game perhaps has game modes or some sort of multiplayer. There would be a fanbase
