As a technical user, I’ll approach this review from a developer’s perspective, I am also an 2D developer so I'll write what I have seen during the gameplay test and focusing on areas that could be improved. Keep in mind that I just played the first stage for now. Pros: The game itself is enjoyable. I personally like 2D games and really appreciate the developer’s work here. The UI and game assets are well-designed for a 2D title, making it a great fit for devices like the Steam Deck or similar handheld consoles.I tested the game on my Steam Deck, and everything works smoothly. The first stage acts as a tutorial, teaching the basics with proper controller prompts, which I found very helpful. I also tested it using Proton on SteamOS (Linux), and it runs without issues. Cons: The last position of character should be recorded in a safe area. Because when the character dies, it will respawn at the 1 second before position so in some circumstances it will trapped when trying to move. I was trapped at the first level where there are some kind of hole or space, where an alien jump there and die, and when I go at the same spot and the other alien shoots me, I tried to escape the shoot but…9 found this helpful
