About GUN&DUN
You play as a gun.... no, not a character with a gun, AS a gun.
Lots of different types of enemies will attack you as you play along and as you uncover a huge secret.
With different settings and re-playability, you can change up how the game is played and beat your high score!
Features
- Difficulty levels. Choose from four different difficulties ranging from easy to impossible, and see which of those high scores can you beat!
- Gun colors. As you play along and get large high scores, you will start to unlock different gun colors that you can show off to your friends whoa aren't as good ad you.
- Power-ups. After killing an enemy, there is a chance of it dropping a power-up that you can utilize in order to increase your likelihood of surviving.
- Secret fight. If you are clever enough, you can uncover the secret of GUN&DUN and find out who is doing all of this.
- 6 completely original songs. 6 songs that you can bounce to and enjoy.

Gun & Dun is a 2D minimalist/retro pixel top down wave survival shooter slapped together with the terrible Godot game engine. Gameplay consists of controlling a pistol and shooting at the waves of squares that attack you. Yes, squares, apparently bothering with actual sprites that resemble anything was out of scope for this. I'm guessing this is some kind of student homework project or something. Godot is a very poor quality game engine, arguably even worse than the blight on gaming that is GameMaker Studio, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games. Just like you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear, you can't make a good game from a completely crap game engine. The lack of capability of the Godot engine can go some way to explain the very lacklustre implementation of this game. While controls can be customised to some extent, the visuals can't. A choice was made to use obsolete/minimalist retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. What a magnificent game. The best i have ever played in my life. This is a life changing game and this game was so good it impregnated me even though i am male. Every second i played this I shat my pants with glee. 100000000000/102 found this helpful
