Mastodonte

Mastodonte is an attempt to revitalize the classic genre of Scrolling Shooters, adding more complexity by demanding the player to move across 3 dimensions, using two different cameras. Sometimes you will required to play in a particular camera or at a specific depth.

Characteristics:

• Each Life is a different aircraft that can be upgraded independently.
• Dual camera interchangeable.
• Directional shield with destructive power.
• Reversible cannon to shoot backwards.
• Secret challenges inside missions.
• Original 2.5D art style.

  Context:

The narrative takes place in a not so distant future, where Ivory Coast is an imperialist superpower, and needs to deal with global tensions in a world where natural resources become increasingly scarce. You are in control of three Ivorian pilots from the Mastodonte Squadron, and will need to accomplish different types of missions, from escorting vessels to striking industrial facilities.

Suspicion falls on him for using amphetamines before intense missions. Has great loyalty and admiration for his comrades, despite showing a certain tendency towards psychopathy.

  Yaya:
