About Monsters!
Monsters! is a dual stick shooter inspired by the classic arcade game Robotron 2084 and SmashTV. Originally released in 2013 on the now defunct Desura website, and later to itch.io and Steam, Monsters! was our very first indie game!
To celebrate it's 10 year Anniversary we have given the game some much needed love, including taking a pass at the art, monster mechanics, and difficulty progression, as well as updating it to a newer version of the Unity Engine (adds support for new Macs/MacOS).
Monsters! Anniversary Edition is also now FREE on all platforms.
Thanks to Travis for the new promo art!

Achievements and leaderboards were the only reason to play this pointless, repetitive twin-stick shooter with crappy graphics and boring music. Now that neither work any more, there's no point in playing it even if it's now free.1 found this helpful

The achievements do not work, one of them being behind a paywall that no longer exists. Dev claimed they were going to work on it but that was said 2 YEARS ago. A real shame as it was a fun little game.
Игра "Monsters!" — яркий аркадный шутер с динамичным геймплеем. Контроль прост, но требует точности: стреляй в монстров, избегай их атак и собирай бонусы. Графика насыщенная, с яркими цветами и смешными анимациями. Звуковая дорожка эмоциональная, а музыка добавляет напряжения. Сюжет минимальный, но это не помеха: основное — весело уничтожать тварей. Повторяемость высокая благодаря разнообразным уровням и режимам. Минус — сложность в высоких рангах. Для развлечения — идеально, но для глубины — не подойдёт.
