It is a game that depicts a person living in extreme anxiety and suffering mentally.
Players become even more exhausted by hallucinations and nightmares.
You continue the game by controlling the protagonist, the perpetrator of school violence.
Will the protagonist be able to sincerely apologize to the victim and receive forgiveness?
Mate is a story-based third-person game
The game begins with the protagonist's hallucinations and nightmares, and includes puzzles and physical control elements.
A multi-ending game where every action you take changes the outcome of this story.
Game Features
Mate was created by a student who is a solo university developer, and all the assets except for a part of the sound and one poster were created by myself.
Any sounds used without production are credited with in-game sources.
It is drawn in the background of the developer's nationality, Korea, but the historical circumstances, characters, and names are fictional characters that have nothing to do with reality.

"Mate" is a badly made Korean narrative driven adventure game with a few lightweight puzzles as the developer singlehandedly solves the problem of Korean schoolyard violence with a crappy video game. This is very poorly assembled with godawful clunky controls, a Korean BBQ buffet full of game breaking bugs, and some truly hideous Minecraft style voxel "art". Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. BOY OH BOY WHERE DO I EVEN START!! This game is one of a kind truly, I've been searching for the love of my life and now i found it this game is it. i was gonna end my life than i played this amazing game. the art and the story is simple yet can be complex, the story flows like grass in the wind, the game is hard yet not anger inducing and the game doesn't hold Ur hands and if it did i bet the hands would be soft and gentle. the game is about remorse and regret consuming one life and everyone needs to play this masterpiece. I've yet haven't beat it and I don't know if you can since this game is a metaphor for how regret can ruins one life and how you need to be careful in which you treat others.
actually kinda decent. the translation from its original language to english kinda makes it hard to follow whats happening a lot of the time, but it has an interesting story, and some engaging horror gameplay.
Has a great story behind it and the idea of the game is good, but the controls are not functioning properly. Camera angles are all over the place, but not where you want them to go. It is free, so I do recommend people play for a few minutes just to get the story line, but if you are easily irritated by wacky controls, then don't play.
this is extremely underrated. hopefully this game gets the attention deserves
