Conclusion (If you don’t feel like to read the full text)
Mecha Harem: Bonds of the Abyss is a side-scrolling STG eroge. The lack of story greatly reduces player immersion. However, if the game is treated mainly as a side-scrolling shooter while having interactive H-scenes as rewards, the overall gameplay is still solid. For players seeking a new bullet-hell side-scrolling shooter indie title, this game with 60 levels may be a good choice.
Gameplay

Patch is not required!
Mecha Harem: Bonds of the Abyss tells the story of a protagonist who is accidentally electrocuted while playing a game and reincarnates into a mecha-themed Isekai. With help from other heroines, he lives aboard a mothership and takes on various missions to gather resources or fight back against an alien invasion. Definitely not worth the $8 I paid for it. You can either have a save game on the pc or the steamdeck. The save file does not transfer. Playing on the pc was better but janky. It felt like a clunky facebook game from a decade ago. Playing on the steam deck was tolerable after I changed the language to English. It is a bullet hell without a dodge. Enemies are roughly the same, just increase in how many they throw at you. The H scenes are meh, The colors from the superpower were the best part.
Mecha Harem: Bonds of the Abyss

Game Introduction
1.Game Story Synopsis:The male protagonist is struck by lightning and unexpectedly transported to a post-apocalyptic universe. With the help of girls from different professions, he boards a mothership and accepts a mission to search for resources, piloting fighter jets to conquer galaxies and challenge one powerful enemy after another.
Gameplay
The core gameplay is typical side-scrolling bullet hell shooter. Players control their aircraft, dodging enemy bullet attacks and using various weapons to defeat them. In this aspect, the game doesn't offer much innovation; player controls primarily consist of basic shooting, missile launches, dodging, and special attacks. While these elements are simple to use, the game's enjoyment isn't diminished but rather enhanced. The bullet hell design is visually very imposing, and the enemy attack patterns are relatively predictable, allowing players to avoid attacks through skillful maneuvering. However, the overall difficulty is low. Even without using dodges, players can easily handle most enemies, making the combat lack challenge and somewhat repetitive. Whi…

Battle Harem blends open-world sandbox SLG with harem romance and real-time combat, offering high freedom in character recruitment and story branching. The character models and CGs are polished, with multiple routes and choices that avoid dead ends, making it accessible for casual players. While combat is simple and repetitive, the rich character interactions and relaxed progression make it a solid choice for fans of harem and sandbox games.

This game features smooth gameplay loops and solid character customization, with a friendly tutorial that makes it easy for new players to get into. The visuals are polished, and there’s plenty of content to keep you engaged over time. While late-game repetition can be an issue, it’s still a fun and accessible RPG worth checking out.
