Hello aspiring young game developers! I just beat your game! To me personally, it felt like a nice mix of mega man and 3d paper mario, i think your ability of bending and moving the point of view was made really well. You guys should be proud of what you created here. I had fun I only died in stage 1 probably because I was still getting use to the the controls and movement. I think what this shows is that the design of stage 1 was a bit harder than stage 2 and 3 I also really like how its a self teaching game no instructions you kind of just learn the mechanics of the game on your own as you go. Anyways great job, I'm proud of you guys, don't give up on your dreams!9 found this helpful
At the cost of "free," you've got nothing to lose (but time) playing this! Especially if you're a youngin' or incredibly new to gaming. It's a quick, breezy play, with straight-forward design and very low difficulty. I finished the whole thing in under half an hour without a single death (though I DID get close a couple times). I appreciate that the developers tried something unique with the charged weapon mechanic, and I genuinely enjoyed how the side-scrolling perspective SHIFTS--I'm a pretty casual gamer, and maybe that's why I've never seen that mechanic before, but I thought it was one of the cooler/better aspects of this game. I especially enjoyed it in one of the later levels where they pushed that mechanic to a greater extent. It's a cool idea, and seeing later parts of the level before getting to play them was cool. With that said, part of me feels "mean" for down-voting this: I have no desire to discourage burgeoning developers (I assume they're burgeoning since this was put out by DigiPen), and, it's FREE! So why be a jerk and "down vote" it? Because besides the two unique aspects I've mentioned, there's nothing here that's NOT pretty run-of-the-mill. The art style, th…1 found this helpful
A fantastic little game! It's a fun Run n Gun with a very unique attack and puzzle solving option in the tentacle whip, the aesthetics are cute, and influences are easy to tell (in the best way possible). My biggest gripe is the camera can feel disorientating with how it moves forward ahead of the player when moving then snaps back when the player stops, otherwise this is a fun short game and I look forward too seeing what this developer can make in the future.1 found this helpful
I mean out of all the completely free games on steam (not free to play) this is probably my favorite if that means anything1 found this helpful
Very short but OK game. Feels like a bit of a mix of Megaman and Sonic.1 found this helpful
