About Shattered Slime
Shattered Slime is a 2.5D platformer you play as a slime that can change its physical properties. Use this to escape the strange facility that the slime has found itself in. Platform, solve puzzles, and not to get shattered.

its not that creative or fun, it's just more platformer slop.
Such a cool game, very interesting and innovative mechanics, music is funny and nice, gamplay its not too easy. Not a huge fan of 2D platformers but for a few minutes it was really fun!!! (also the slime is very very cute...)
"Shattered Slime" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This platformer is at least rendered in 3D, although the gameplay still takes place on a 2D plane, and frankly, it's not good gameplay. This is no Hollow Knight. It does feature a state change gimmick as you control a slime that can turn to water/whatever, but this has been done before by far better games. The technical implementation is on par with all of that, which is to say, not good at all. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The graphics aren't great, low poly 3D stuff and simplistic, uninspired low res assets. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost.…
