In [i]Merry's Seven Wishes[/i] the story begins at the funeral of our titular character, who has died following a terminal illness, leaving the reader to follow her former artist husband and his journey to acceptance and beyond. The loss of his beloved has a profound effect upon Richard, literally taking the colour out of his world. Lost and lonely, and following the famly doctor's advice, he begins to clear out the attic, where he finds a letter written by his wife before she passed. This leads him to discover a noticeboard upon which she has left seven final wishes for him to fulfil. Wishes which, when pursued, will lead to him revisiting cherished memories, rebuilding broken bridges, strengthening relationships, making new friendships and ultimately restoring colour to his entire existence. [h1]Game structure[/h1] MSW is a linear visual novel which replaces choices with interactive elements, which I am loathe to call “minigames” as this will, wrongly in this case, …

A beautiful game, very well paced and provoking thoughts about life and values in life. Animation is well done too - one can see that a lot of effort went into its creation.
