Well to be honest I think the game is a scam. It all looks nice but the game doesn't work. It's Half created just to barely pass as a pre-release. Then you can't back out or shut off the game you're trapped. After 5 min of WTF? I had to reset my PC to get the game to close. I think this was done to make it so that you can't refund the game as you will have gone over the 2hr limit just trying to close the game.4 found this helpful
Introduction to an indie zombie game with some good and bad ideas. The story doesn’t give you a lot to chew on. There’s the usual zombie apocalypse that just happens out of nowhere, and you’re supposed to be the chosen one who is immune to the virus. Except for a few lines during the loading screen, there’s nothing else to make the setting interesting. Especially because the game start with the generic car crash after which your friend is suddenly gone. The game falls in the third-person action genre. You can walk around, run with the limited stamina bar that recharges pretty fast, jump over short obstacles, scavenge for resources, and shoot zombies. There is no need to be concerned about survival aspects, as there are none. All you can collect on the map are screws, rocks, bullets, and a variety of other items that allow you to recover your health or make ammo for your weapons. Because the game is still in early access, you can only play the first chapter. It offers an open map with only a few locations. Although you can venture into the wilderness, it is generally safer to stick to the main road and lights. You don't have a map, so it's easy to get lost. There's also nothing n…3 found this helpful
I thoroughly enjoyed Mia's Hunt. The story is engaging, the gameplay is smooth, and the atmosphere is incredibly immersive. The developer did an excellent job creating a gripping experience, and I’m excited for Chapter 2. Well done!2 found this helpful
So, I played this one a while ago - https://youtu.be/ZgmZ5MXQSho - and it wasn't too bad. There is always room for improvement in these early access games, but the biggest frustration for me is that it now appears to be a dead game. The game currently includes Chapter 1 and at the end, there is the promise of Chapter 2, but it seems that was over a year ago and nothing has come out since. I even tagged the developer on X but had no response at all - https://x.com/TheRespawned/status/1943305660331880932 Do I recommend this game? If it had been developed further, the yes, but given it feels like a cash grab (even if not that expensive) and the developer seems to have gone silent, then no, I cannot recommend it. I may change the review if the developer bothers to respond, or we see Chapter 2, but until then, save your money for something that has a future.1 found this helpful
