It’s kind of sad what happened to this game. Looking at the developer’s responses to feedback, it’s a little heartening to see how a few of the game’s features, like the quicksave and the dodge mechanic, were borne out of constructive criticism. I put heavy emphasis on “[b]kind of[/b]” because I don’t think this was ever destined to be a good game. These bandage fixes won’t save you very often when you’re clicking constantly to drag yourself through the maps. At least one glitch that the dev posts claimed to have fixed, walking on walls, is still in the game’s current version. What it ultimately boils down to is that this game is a point-and-click adventure with clichéd writing, base RPGMaker assets, and zero puzzle solving. You have to walk to one area and find an item to use in another area, which you then use in another area. I found only two item chains, which are irritating for completely different reasons. The first item chain to help you escape from the starting area requires you use a power cord to use a computer to read the passcode for the breaker. You can’t look at the computer unless you look at the breaker, and you can’t notice the cord unless you look at the …
