About Mini City: Mayhem

Beat the clock and become the city's longest running mayor!

It is your job as the freshly elected mayor of a town to turn a little plot of land into a bustling metropolis. Manage your resources, lay the foundation for important hubs for your expanding city, and watch as your population grows. However, in Mini City: Mayhem, every second counts, so there's no time to relax and take pride in your work.

A cozy city-builder that will puzzle you!

To make sure that your city grows and meets the needs of its residents, you'll need to act swiftly and wisely. In addition to strategically placing and stacking puzzle pieces depending on form to distribute vital structures, roads must be thoughtfully designed in order to connect your buildings in an effective manner.

  • Mayhem: Prove yourself as the new mayor in a race against the clock to keep your citizens content!
  • Zen: Take your sweet time building your new city, with no pressure and a limited number of blocks.

  • Square Stack: Strategically pick one of two shapes and keep building your tower.
  • Crane: Balance blocks with the utmost precision to build the tallest tower possible!

✦ AI summary

Players praise Mini City: Mayhem as a clever, accessible blend of city-building and puzzle mechanics with fair pricing, multiple modes, and satisfying strategic depth that doesn't demand heavy time commitments. Common complaints center on technical issues like sluggish mouse controls, oversized file size, repetitive background music that doesn't match the frantic pace, and building designs that feel somewhat generic and similar to Townscaper.

Mini City: Mayhem is a compact yet cleverly designed city-building experience that reinterprets the genre through the lens of puzzle logic and time-driven pressure rather than sprawling simulation. Developed by Rogue Duck Interactive in collaboration with cukuto and published by Rogue Duck Interactive alongside Gamersky Games, the game focuses on fast, readable decision-making and creative spatial thinking. Instead of asking players to manage complex economies over long campaigns, it challenges them to think quickly, place intelligently, and adapt layouts on the fly, resulting in a city builder that feels both energetic and approachable. The core idea behind Mini City: Mayhem is deceptively simple: you are given a limited area and a steady stream of buildings and roads, and your task is to assemble them into a functioning city before time runs out. This urgency fundamentally shapes how the game feels. Every placement matters, not just in terms of efficiency but also timing, as poorly thought-out decisions can block future growth or waste precious seconds. The result is a pacing that feels closer to an arcade puzzle game than a traditional management sim, where momentum and quick j…

Some really cool ideas! I love the combination of city builder + tetris and the price tag feels fair. That said, there is definitely room for improvement; - I wish the ost were more randomized (songs keep playing in the same order) and they don't quite fit the mood (you're racing against time but it's lo-fi) - there might be too many modes - the buildings could be more varied and feel a bit too similar to Townscaper

Mouse cursor doesn't uses the system speed, the game replaces it by it's own one, fixed to slow. It makes everything painful. Also I don't get why the game is 1Go when it could have been less than 100Mo if the libs and assets had been correctly compressed.

Pretty fun little 3d block matching game with quite a few enjoyable modes and a nice price.

-Simple, but challenging. -Multiple game modes for different play-styles/moods. -Easy to pop in and out of without feeling obligated to devote lots of time. -Lots of maps to work towards unlocking, and tons of opportunity at strategy for each stage. -Feels like Tetris and a city-builder all at the same time.
