Great game.

City Builders were never my strong suit, but this game makes it easier to manage and enjoy the genre without getting frustrated. This game is a total relaxation game.

This is a fairly simple & straightforward city-builder, which I understand was first developed as a mobile game. Well, at least the Steam version lacks the freemium qualities expected of their mobile counterparts. As a rule, Pocket City is less complicated than titles in the genre meant for PCs or consoles. For example, placing service structures anywhere will merely ensure the populace can benefit from them, unlike where each structure emits a radius. The lack of electric pole lines & water pipes is also noticeable, as the power/water is supplied via roads. You can fulfil quests to gain money & EXP, which increases your levels & unlocks newer buildings for play. Or simply play in Sandbox where none of that is a concern. Still, if this is misread as criticism, it is not. The game was on sale for a fairly reasonable price, and though lacking in depth (which IMO reduces its replayability) as a mobile port to Steam, I wouldn't say it was a waste of time. I imagine it might come in handy if played on the Steam Deck. So, no complaints from me.

Excellent play on both desktop and mobile. The ability to change scenery and random events are a unique addition. No questions and no suggestions, I really enjoyed the game and would not change anything

For a couple of bucks, it's not bad. It's a very mellow little city builder, Nothing really outstanding or original in it, but it plays well enough. It's an easy addition to a well-rounded game library.
