Minus Nine

Pretty decent zombie game with an okay gameplay loop, but that does not mean that it is safe from criticism. I LOVE zombie games. Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising, Zomboid, Dead Island, Dying Light, Zombie Army. You name it, I've played it. The reason why I bring this up is because I have of course seen my fair share of BAD zombie games. Despite the fun gameplay loop this game falls under the bad zombie game category. You have 5 different guns, an smg, bazooka, flamethrower, shotgun, and a sniper. As you go through the 9 stages it gets more difficult with more zombie spawns. The thing that makes these two mechanics clash is that you only switch to a gun if you RUN OUT of ammo in the one you were using.. I have died MANY times to being backed in a corner by a horde and being forced to use the sniper or shotgun. The map is confusing at times and the zombies are all asset flips with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ filter over it to make it seem better than it is. This game has so much potential but it tries to be difficult, though instead its just aggravating and annoying to play. I mean... its a free game that works. Its a very simple zombie/maze/shooter with multiple weapons. Its not a great game but I've paid money for worse. Its worth trying out for 10 minutes to see if you like it.

This game is awful and not fun at all. - The game play is pretty basic. Shoot zombies, find generators to power an elevator, get to the elevator to move to the next floor, rinse and repeat. Its not a bad gameplay loop, especially for being a free game. But my other points will give you an idea why this is a bad thing - The gameplay, although basic, is incredibly unforgiving. Not even in a challenging but fun kind. If you reach zero health points, the game is over and you have to start all the way at the beginning of the game. It is tedious and frustrating. - The zombie spawns make no sense from a gameplay perspective. The hallways and rooms are small and tight, causing you to just hold out in a random room till you eventually clear them all out. But the catch is that the variations of zombies are downright unfair. There's one zombie variant that will blow up if you even so much as touch him, and if you're stuck in a corridor or small room then you lose 50 hp. The explosion even goes through walls - Why in the hell am I restricted to using one weapon till I need to reload. I've been playing this game on and off for 3 days now, and I finally got a run that was good, I was locked in and trying to win just to come face to face with a bug, the room to the elevator has no entrance to it, i've tried everything to get in but there is no way in sometimes with the random generation.
