About Zomborg
It is the year 2000, and the United Nations has established several quarantine zones around the world to stem the tide of an unknown virus pandemic. They are successful, but at a great cost.
Shortly after the containment rumor began to spread, there were tales of survivors trapped inside the quarantine zones, and of the cause of the virus, with footage of reanimated infected corpses roaming the street. Still, no solid evidence could be found.
In order to find the cure and the origin of this infection, the United Nations deployed dozens of military, medical, and scientific teams into the quarantine zones.
During the mission, one of the medical teams found a very important clue in the blood sample from dead livestock in the quarantine zone, along with several images of infected corpses in the area.
But before the team could evacuate, their outpost was attacked and overrun by thousands of infected corpses. The whole medical staff and their security team were killed, leaving all the samples and research data behind.
Not intending to send another team to meet the same fate, the United Nations called upon a private military company, highly skilled mercenaries to retrieve the data and uncover the secret of the zone where no one had ever come back to tell the tale.

Not bad for what it is, simple little game to spend and hour or two in if you have a few bucks to spare and nothing in the library calls for you. Few bugs here, a bit unpolished there, but its aight, and for the price, its good.1 found this helpful
Zomborg is exactly the kind of game that reminds you why indie titles continue to be one of the most exciting parts of the gaming industry. It takes a straightforward premise—survive against relentless hordes of the undead—and injects it with enough style, intensity, and personality to make every session feel memorable. From the moment the first wave begins, the game wastes no time throwing players into the action. There's an immediate sense of urgency as enemies close in from every direction, forcing you to constantly adapt, reposition, and make split-second decisions. It's fast, chaotic, and incredibly satisfying when everything comes together. What makes Zomborg stand out is its pacing. The difficulty ramps up at a steady rate, creating that addictive "just one more run" feeling that all great arcade-style games strive for. Every upgrade, weapon choice, and strategic decision feels meaningful, and there's a constant sense of progression as you learn enemy patterns and refine your approach. This game is a pain in the ass

I don't really have words for it, I was just glad I got it over with. Zomborg you play as an elite private military company, (because the UN can't be bothered apparently) to go in and recover data, and find out the secrets to this outbreak. But this "elite" team loves running in front of me and throwing themselves at the enemy. Overall the game has some "charm", I got this awhile ago when it was given out for free, but never finished it, I replayed it and I can see why I dropped it. The story is eh? The controls and FOV are all over the place, some enemies you can't even hit but they can hit you, so you kinda have to wait for your teammate to come shoot them, or if they died thinking they're in Saving Private Ryan, you just have to avoid them. I forever despise achievements with kill x number of said enemy, but the achievements are a grind fest, if you're looking to 100% this, buckle up. Only good thing I can say about this game is the music, and even then its alright (why does it pick up when no enemies are around for no reason I can not tell you) if you're looking to increase your perfected games on steam for 70 cents, sure, or if you got this game for free however long ago an…
