"Missile Input" is a rather pointless low quality typing tutorial game (yeah it looks like an action game but not really). What do you do in the game? You're under attack by a bunch of random stuff and your missile defenses can shoot them if you type a given phrase quickly enough... that's it. This whole thing looks like a browser/Adobe Flash game. The most amusing and enjoyable part of this game is considering that the developer really thought people would give him money for it. The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $6 USD for this. Six bucks! Is that blind optimism, or just delusion? Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succe…4 found this helpful
At first glance, I thought it would be a fun game learning to type faster. But as I continued, one of the words it had me type was an "F-bomb" literally the word f***ing . I just found that wildly inappropriate for this type of game.
