Seems like a fun game so far, definitely still needs polish as expected of early access, but if the developer keeps updating the game it should turn out quite good! A bit challenging to learn at the start, but when you figure out what you gotta do it has a lot of depth

Mission: Rift Seeker is an exceptional base-building colony game that offers a fresh take on survival and strategy, set against the backdrop of a mysterious, uncharted alien planet. As a colony leader, your task is to establish a thriving settlement, manage resources, and ensure the survival of your people while navigating the dangers of the unknown world. One of the standout features of Mission: Rift Seeker is its deeply engaging gameplay. The game offers a satisfying balance between exploration, resource management, and base construction. You start with a small, basic outpost and gradually expand it into a fully operational colony. From mining valuable resources to building power plants, farming areas, and defensive structures, every aspect of the colony's growth is in your hands. The variety of buildings and upgrades ensures that players can customize their colonies to suit their preferred playstyle, whether they want to focus on sustainability, research, or military strength. The game also excels in its resource management mechanics. You’ll need to carefully balance the needs of your colony—keeping your settlers fed, safe, and happy—while also managing the ever-growing demand…

I started playing Misison: Rift Seeker wanting to love it. It's made in the 2D, colony management style of Oxygen Not Included, and I love Oxygen Not Included. But, after eight hours of play, I'm not going to play M:RS anymore, and I regret spending $20 on it that I can no longer get refunded. The game is second rate. Important aspects of the game are poorly explained, like how to earn more coins apart from a couple tutorial accomplishments. Coins are critical for getting more Seekers, and getting more Seekers is critical because they die easily. So this critical gameplay mechanic is kept a mystery. If a Seeker becomes sick (which sometimes happens randomly, or en masse when you screw up your shower management), the sickness will kill the Seeker unless you have medical treatment. But medical treatment is a mid-game tech that you can't get in the early game. So if you get a sick Seeker, give him or her a kiss goodbye. This also makes playing with invasions difficult, because you never known when some aliens are going to rift-jump into your base and injure/kill your Seekers, while you have no hope of healing or reinforcement. Invasions should be a fun and challenging aspect of the…
