Players criticize Colony on Mars for having minimal content and features, with only a handful of buildings and five short levels that lack meaningful progression and balance—early levels drag on while later ones are trivially easy due to excessive passive resource generation. Common complaints include poor UI design with a buggy building placement system, lack of in-game tutorials or warnings about critical mechanics like water depletion, technical glitches like audio cutouts, and an overall sense that the game feels more like an unfinished school project than a complete title. While a few pla
Colony on Mars is a base building game. Wow, this is another pathetic game from the same developer with barely any features or content. 4 buildings, 1 robot. One building to generate each resources and one to create robots. 5 levels total, with goals such as 'gather 100 minerals'. Terrible graphics and balance. Level 1 and 2 are super long for no reason, Level 3 to 5 you gain a lot of minerals passively for no reason at all and it allows you to complete those super fast. Instead of having a guide in the game menu, how about any kind of warning that your water dropping to 0 kills you? Also, that big back button and the buggy building placement system did cause me to misclick it once and lose all my progress... The game has absolutely zero merits, it is tedious and better AFK'd, boring with no action whatsoever. Build a well and become immortal then wait until you generate enough resources to complete the objectives... how fun! To add to the previous bugs, I clicked on one of my buildings to upgrade it and it almost teleported off-screen randomly. You also can't move your screen around, the background remains the same and your play area is a fixed 500x400 pixels playground or so. …4 found this helpful

Interesting to fool around with for a minute, but it has some problems. It seems like this game was made as a school project or personal challenge. There are glitches throughout (like the audio randomly cutting out and objects moving across the map).
Colony On Mars, developed by Nikita "Ghost_RUS" and published by Ghost_RUS Games, is a strategy and simulation game that challenges players to build and manage a human settlement on the harsh Martian surface. The game places a strong emphasis on resource management, construction, and survival, tasking players with overseeing every aspect of a fledgling colony. From assigning tasks to colonists to constructing essential facilities, the game attempts to capture the tension and planning required to sustain life in an alien environment. While the narrative is minimal, it provides enough context to frame the player’s mission and keep the focus on gameplay. Players start with a small group of cosmonauts and limited resources, gradually expanding their settlement as they gather materials and construct buildings. The game offers three modes: Campaign, Free Play, and God Mode. Campaign mode introduces structured challenges and objectives across multiple levels, gradually increasing the difficulty and complexity. Free Play removes these constraints, allowing players to build and experiment at their own pace, while God Mode grants abundant resources from the start, giving players freedom to …
