"MONOTONIA: First Contact" is MONOTONIA: First Contact isn't a game at all, it's just an ad for Monotonia. Talk about store pollution... Misleading marketing like this is an abuse of the Steam storefront and the "free" category. The product this is advertising, Monotonia is intended to be a really crap "dark politics" themed mashup of some poor iterations of various game types... namely endless runner/Flappy Bird style games and CCG elements... terrible idea, implemented badly, and apparently abandoned.... but that's not really relevant, because this isn't Monotonia, it's just an advert for it! I don't know why my gameplay hours is 8.9hrs. I played this game for less than an hour I think. Nevertheless, I did like it!
Very hard to say anything negative about a game that's free - having just 100% it, I can say I definitely wouldn't have been able to without the 'guide' on Steam - as some of them are just far too random IMO Interesting little concept for a game, and almost 5 hours I would have to give it a thumbs up, as it's a unique experience and won't hurt your wallet
trippy arcade game with flash vibes
