Great game. Difficult game. Don't get mad. Just laugh at the funny voiceovers and enjoy your life.

SO HARD BUT REALLY FUN

This game got me thinking - I think we have enough entries in the Foddy-like genre to differentiate "Rage games" like Sisyphus from "Skill based precision platformers/Foddian" like Difficult Game About Climbing, Getting Over It, Baby Steps, Jump King, and now Get To Work. This game is excellent. It sits somewhere between CS Surf, Tribes, and Baby Steps, firmly in the "good rage games" bucket. Difficulty is main-line Baby Steps. The movement is unique, the level design is excellent, and the story elements are funny enough if that's what you're looking for, but I didn't really pay much attention. I completed the main-line and all of the speedrun achievements, and had a lot of fun doing it. The speedruns in particular were very fair and incredibly satisfying. The game should be played blind, because finding the shortcuts to get back to where you were or to hit the speedrun goals is the real core of the game. As of now I'm not doing the DLC, because I don't have time - but the Doinkler Special's first fifth that I got through was fantastic and will scratch the Jump King punishing-pain-platformer-precision itch that the main-line game didn't emphasize. The most frustrating game ever (especially considering the DLC) but overall a great purchase. Very addicting and satisfying, and lots of my friends now play to compete with our best times. 10/10, very much recommend to try out.
