I feel like games like this often get overlooked for their simplicity or their lack of 'challenging yourself'. It's quite frustrating to me, as games like this really do take a deep dive in what gaming can be as an art form. This game is short, cute, wholesome, and has the slightest touch of bittersweet melancholy. The puzzles aren't all that difficult, but they still make you go "Aha". They also don't need to be, especially when half the story has to do with your relationship with a younger companion character. This game touches on what it's like for the culture of overworking. It's particularly coded to the ideology of Japanese salarymen. On the fact that value and love are more important than money. The music is gorgeous and done by a stellar person known for working on Plants v Zombies, Too the Moon (Everything's All Right - :'D), and more. At the core of this game is love. Reminding you to love, love for the art form, and love for the simple beauties and treasured moments you can find if you let yourself slow down and do so.
