About Mushroom Heroes
A puzzle platform adventure, with inspiration going all the way back to SNES and 8-bit classics. The game is inspired from ‘90s classics like Lost Vikings.
Mushroom Heroes is a puzzle-platform video game developed by Serkan Bakar.
Retro platformer where the player can switch between three different characters.
You have a 3 mushroom hero and each mushroom has special abilities, some of which the player needs in order to pass certain obstacles.
Jumpi can higher jump and float in air.
Yuppi can kill enemies with his bow. The bow can also be used to detonate some walls and bombs.
Dombi can block enemies projectiles with his shield, and he can push or pull some objects.
Mushroom Heroes brings back the look and feel of the very best classic platformers from the 90's, introducing refreshed and engaging gameplay mechanics. If you miss platformers from the 16-bit era, and think games nowadays aren't that good anymore, think twice! Mushroom Heroes is for you.
STORY
A long time ago, there was a mushroom country, living in tranquility: it was Boduria. Boduria was ruled by King Bodur for 1000 years. King Bodur had an allied warlock, called Gaddar. Gaddar was also the one and only poisonous mushroom in the land. One fine day, Gaddar wanted to turn some of the mushrooms in the village into poisonous ones, just like him. Believing non-poisonous ones are weak, Gaddar's aim was to poison the the folk and become the King. King Bodur didn't let him get away with it, and exiled Gaddar. Nevertheless, Gaddar had the antidote to dispel the poison. Before it's too late, King assigned 3 of his best warriors to catch Gaddar and bring the potion back. Thus: Yuppi, Jumpi and Dombi embarked on a tough adventure.

Fun little free lost vikings clone. thanks for the gift! intuitive and well done.
The game has a number of (mostly) small bugs, wonky physics, and that terrible arrow keys + ZX control scheme that I see on way too many indies, but it still manages to be a lot of fun. I really liked the fake co-op gameplay and the various ways the mushrooms worked together to beat the levels. I used Steam controller support to remap the keyboard keys to my old Logitech controller, which worked great. If I had to actually use the default keyboard controls, I never would have played the game. I don't know why so many devs use arrow keys + ZX. It sucks so hard.

Mushroom Heroes is a good puzzle platformer and made by Serkan Bakar the same people that made Mahluk and Ghoulboy, alright its story time. In a faraway and tranquil kingdom of the mushroom people all is well, until the King’s advisor Gaddar the only poison mushroom in the mushroom Kingdom decides to turn all the people into poison mushrooms as well. The king banishes him but unfortunately only Gaddar has the antidote, so the king sends his three best mushroom knights to bring back the antidote and save the kingdom. Okay now the likes, the gameplay is good, its hard but fair if you've played Mahluk and Ghoulboy for the most part it's generally the same, although this gameplay is more focused on puzzles than hack and slash like the previous two games. One interesting thing about the gameplay is that you actually play three characters instead of just one and each of the three characters has a specific abilities, one character can jump higher, glide and climb walls, another character can push things and has a shield and another character has a bow and arrow to deal with enemies and hit switches that are far away. The puzzles are good it requires a bit of brain work and trial and err…
