annoying enemies and bosses, annoying as ♥♥♥♥ traversal, the ladybug platforming challenges are sometimes way to difficult

I didn't have many expectations for this game, but it turned out to be much better, longer and larger than what I expected. The world is filled with things to do, areas can be reached via different means, plenty of ways to change your build. My only real complaints are some jank (especially when getting combo'd) and bosses later in the game having way too much health that the fight just boils down to who can outlast the other one (some bosses are fine, but agile or large bosses pose a big threat even in the midgame). Final boss is pretty fun and I'm glad it has a lot of hp though. Oh and nightmare mode is total nonsense, reducing your health to 3, destroying some shrines and especially permadeath. In this game you can get killed VERY easily (esp on bosses) and you can't quit to the menu during boss fights. Oh and you can't copy a save file on nightmare, how thoughtful. Despite my rant, this game is absolutely worth trying out!

I really enjoyed this game, even though I didn't complete it 100%. Did get the two endings I could get. Loved the story, and the art direction. If their is anything I would change is maybe their should be more training rooms, cause their are a lot of nuance to the platforming that they don't even get into. All and All I would say the game is a solid 8/10 for me, because I did enjoy all of it, I just wish that things that require 100% completion weren't blocked behind things I personally have trouble with. Like timing for pogo on the spinning traps.

I like the map, which is large and well connected. I enjoyed all of the difficult platforming challenges. the way the bonus endings were hiding behind figuring out certain platforming tricks and nothing else was a bit odd.

Solid metroidvania with some fantastic optional platforming challenges. The combat is pretty boring, so you'll be ready to put it down after 12 hours, but it's a good ride until then! 7.5/10
