New Meaning is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This E-book single handedly cured all cases of depression in the world. Not. But that's what this is about... this high school fanfiction tier writer generally thought he treat mental illness with a crap E-book. This kind of thing isn't ok, here's why. Trying to address mental health issues through the medium of video games (or in this case, crap Ren'Py e-books) is misguided and can be harmful. While it's plausible to suggest the intention was noble, this can do more harm than good. this sucked , awful and depressing you should be ashamed to write something so bad

This game feels like a cliche movie, I was dying inside while playing. This was a painful experience for me, the story line is weird and cringe, and the romance part was probably the cringiest part.

this is a wonderful game, its very short and is a very dark outlook on the pains and struggles of Depression. its a game that I would say is worth playing
