Have you ever done something you regret? What if I told you there was a way to fix it? Make it so that something never happened at all; or perhaps, just happened differently. What if I told you it was as simple as a game of solitaire? What if I told you that the game’s name was Occlude?The game’s not simple. The rules are hidden, and you find them by playing and experimenting. Make sure you have some coins - the coins will show when you’re on the right path. There are seven Rituals, each their own puzzle, increasing in difficulty. There are seven Entities, and they know you’re playing. Don’t worry about them. Worrying doesn’t do anything. I shouldn’t have mentioned them at all.Occlude is an occult game of solitaire stuffed with secrets. Piece together the rules even as they resist your attempts to decipher them. Uncover the brain-melting story behind the game that was never a game as you chip away at reality one card at a time. Develop your mastery of each Ritual to gain access to even deeper, forbidden lore in the Archives.- Solitaire: but not as you know it.

A fun twist of the classic Solitaire, with increasingly more difficult challenges!
If you're looking for balatro or your next addiction, you wont find it here. What you will find is a short logic and lateral thinking puzzle. It's a little obtuse at times but never so much that it's impossible to figure out. My biggest complaint is the controls. It lacks polish and smoothness of action. There is no snapping whatsoever so cards need to be placed a bit more precisely than one might prefer. Everything moves just a little slower than one would hope. Double click all cards is largely a useless feature when it comes to accessibility as you just end up having to drag things to the side board instead of the tableau. Overall, it's fun and worth the time if you're patient. If you want something crisp and engaging with sound and visuals that satisfy, this probably isn't for you.
Cryptic solitaire with an occult aesthetic. Very fun!
You dabble in magic? You like Solitaire? Enjoy figuring rules unspoken? Then this might be a door for you. The deck is dealt by an invisible hand. You move cards, the tokens shift - this pantomime is your guide. Succeed and the walls of the world will move just a little for you. Fail and lose nothing. What could go wrong?
The lore hooked me in immediately! I was really not expecting that from a "solitaire with a twist" game. The gameplay follows a nice difficulty curve, and I finished the main levels without any external help.
Yeah, nah. It's a pretty standard solitaire variant with the twist that a particular card needs to be the last one placed on the stack for each of the four suits. You're not told what card this is. If you place a card incorrectly a coin flips and you'll need to start the puzzle over. However, before flipping, the coin will move to a different position. The puzzle comes in working out what rule has been triggered that would cause the coin to move, and using this to deduce the correct final card. The first couple of puzzles are simple. The rule for the next will only become apparent if you randomly stumble across it, but the rule itself is logical. The rules for the following puzzles move through various levels of stupidity, before arriving at a point in the final puzzle that is so thoroughly illogical it's barely comprehensible even with a guide in front of you. What killed the game for me before I came close to that point of utter inanity, is that you need to get all four final cards correct to progress, and if you screw up one, you cannot undo it - you have to start the entire game of solitaire over again.
